Cheap & Easy Cleaning Solution

We use natural cleaning products, not only because it’s safe for our kids but also because many cleaning agents out there are so toxic. I found many different articles offering advice on the CHEAPEST homemade natural cleaner in the world but I just can’t handle the smell. VINEGAR…… whew!

So I have just been buying some seventh generation products and although I really like them, they can get pricey. (I only get the products if I come across a coupon) A couple of weeks ago I ordered some Dr. Bronner’s all natural liquid soap from Swanson Health Products for very cheap. I’ve heard of numerous things you can do with the soap and I was/am planning on using it for the homemade laundry detergent I make.

One day I had ran out of our regular spray cleaner I use in the kitchen so I thought I would give the lavendar Dr. Bronner’s a try in the spray bottle. I put in about 2-3 table spoons and the rest water and it works AWESOME! No more buying $3-5 spray bottles for table top cleaning, this stuff works! And it leaves the room smelling fresh & clean!
I hope this can work for you because it WORKS for me!

  1. Wow great tip! I make our own laundry detergent also. Isn’t it great knowing we are not washing our clothes in all of those chemicals? Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving such a nice comment. It was so very much appreciated.

  2. Great ideas! I don’t mind the smell of vinegar, so I’ve got that option, and I also like to use baking soda for things that need a good scrubbin’!

  3. Thanks Alicia! Elena- great tip!
