Preschool Activities

I finally was able to follow my schedule and have “homeschool preschool” as Lincoln calls it.
I did a neat activity with Lincoln called Egg Carton Shuffle. You tape #’s in each opening (can use anything from numbers, letters, shapes, etc.). First I had him place green pom pom’s in the 1’s, then the 2’s, then the 3’s. Then I gave him a 1, 2 & a 3 with pom pom’s for each number and had him categorize by finding which opening in the egg carton they went into.
Then they practiced writing their names after they watched me do it & they traced their names. Lastly, we counted Popsicle sticks & used those same stick to glue little green squares on a big square I made out of Popsicles sticks.
Julia trying very hard to write her name- she needs a lot of practice! 🙂

We did preschool yesterday but we reviewed some information I taught them for about an hour or so. We did many worksheets, they wrote their names again, I had Lincoln make a square with sticks and one activity.
Yay! He did it all by himself!
Here is a printout I cut out and glued on paper. We went over the animals then counted them, then since we have just covered #’s 1 & 2 I gave then beans they glued to the correct picture that had 1 octupus and 2 owls.
