Spreading Holiday Cheer {Our Card & Letter}

Can you believe it? Only 3 more days until Christmas morning!

I know many people are still rushing to get things done. The shopping, the wrapping, the last minute decorating, the cleaning, the baking and the list goes on.

Have you mailed out your Christmas cards yet? Luckily, I sent mine out earlier this week. Every year I send out photo Christmas cards with family pictures.

You can get 50 cards for around  $15, including the envelopes at most Walmarts, Costcos, and other stores. You can always choose to send out Happy New Year’s cards if you ran out of time.

Here’s our photo card:

Along with our card I always send out a Christmas letter, yes, it’s also known as “the dreaded Christmas letter” but I like to have fun with it! Plus it’s a keepsake we look back at each year.

One year I did a regular ole letter, the next I did a letter to Santa theme where the end focus was on Jesus, last year I did a Mad Lib family edition which was a lot of fun. There are so many creative ideas out there now, especially on pinterest.

This year was no different, wanting to find something even more creative. I had come by the year in review letters but some of them were costly to download. Then I found a blog who created her own using picmonkey– my favorite photo editing tool. Yvonne from Stone Gable created several templates you can download for free, then all you have to do is upload it to picmoneky as a photo to edit and add all your fun family memories you’d like to share.

Do you send out Christmas Cards?
