How to create a Blog Button for Dummies!

For a while now I have wanted to create a blog button. I have seen them on numerous blogs and they are also used to advertise, show support for something, for link ups or blog hops and many other reasons.

I wanted to make one for my own blog and for the link up I just started. I searched google and found some helpful sites including: Blogging with Amy, she has several tips & tutorials. I also came across Shabby Blogs, they don’t make personalized buttons but there are many cute ones that will spice up your blog.  I also came across Musings of a housewife, she has many tips, step by step instructions as well as some health-related tips. But still for me, a computer code illiterate, all of the step by step sites & instructions didn’t work.

I then came across a website that offers a Grab My Button Code Generator. Ta Da! There you go, my kind of instructions. Enter website title here, website here, and image here and the generator creates it. Then, you get the html code and add it to your blog under the gadgets, choose the HTML/Java Script one.

Here are my buttons below, neither are finished products but this is what I’m using now.
