A wonderful cleaning, natural cleaning option, that will keep your home in tip-top shape!

Now for my review:

I am not going to lie, when a bottle of soap and several empty spray bottles showed up on my door step I was leery. Could one bottle of concentrated soap clean my messy house? 

Guys, I am not a housekeeper. I try, but cleaning just isn’t my jam. However, when I realize that one product could clean my entire home I was jazzed. 

I received the Small Starter Kit, which came with 12 ounce bottle of Branch Basic’s signature concentrated soap and three empty bottles to make All-Purpose cleaner, Bathroom cleaner, Streak-Free cleaner, and our new custom 10 oz. foamer bottle perfect for hand and face washing. 

It is really easy to mix the products. Each bottle comes with directions with a line to fill with water and then a second line to tell you how much soap to add. It’s usually just a few drops. As skeptical as I was, I was amazed at how well the soap worked at cleaning my home. From the tile in my bathroom to the granite on my counter tops, the Branch Basics soap got my house shiny clean. 

I was even able to use it to clean my mirrors and scrub my cast iron skillet. You can even spot treat oil stains on clothing. 

What I Liked:

1. I liked how effective the product is 
2. That the product is safe to use around my kids
3. There is not overpowering scent 
4. The versatility of the cleaning products 

What I didn’t Like:

1. Nothing!

Now for my review:

I was given a Summit Triple Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle with Flip Straw Spout (17oz) and a larger BigFoot Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle (45oz). I have loved my Summit water bottle and enjoyed the convenience of having the larger BigFoot water bottle to keep with me as well. 

For a month now, the Summit water bottle has been my go-to water bottle of choice, despite having several other options at home. I love how well it keeps my drinks cold, how it never spills, and how it easily fits into a cupholder in my van or tucks into my bag for carrying along. The Summit has also become a favorite water bottle of my kids, too, since we often share the one bottle for convenience while we are out. I like that my toddler can easily use it without spilling. 

While the Summit has been a great size for everyday use, the BigFoot has been really helpful for longer trips. Often when I know we will be out for a while, I will fill up the BigFoot water bottle as well to use as a refill for our smaller bottles. Because it is insulated and stainless too, I know that the water will stay cold until we need it. (Now that the weather is getting cooler, I’m also looking forward to filling it up with hot chocolate and taking it for picnics at the park!)

I really love these water bottles. They are so easy to clean. They don’t sweat all over me or my bag. And they are sleek and good looking too.  

What I Liked:

1. My drinks stayed COLD
2. The bottles stay clean
3. We can all share the bottle
4. Two sizes helped to ensure we had enough
5. The bottles are completely mess-free!

What I didn’t Like:

Now for my review:

There is something magical about Christmas. It’s so easy to get swept up in all the excitement and sparkle. But as a mom I want to teach my children that the reason our family celebrates Christmas is because of the birth of our Lord and Savior. Without Jesus, it’s just a day in December. So I am constantly looking for meaningful ways to bring Christ to the forefront of celebration. 

So I was really excited when on my doorstep landed the book “12-Day Nativity: Christmas Activities for a Christ-Centered Home.”

The book is packed with useful ways to bring the nativity story to life. My children are very young, just four and two, so learning through play is such a huge part of our life. 

I was pleased to open the book and see from the get go it was geared toward play and acts of service, two things my children love. 

We started the 12-Day Nativity by creating our own Bethlehem out of a cardboard box. This opened up discussion about what Bethlehem might have been like, the types of houses people lived in and what they might have eaten. 

We also prepared our home for Jesus and practiced swaddling a baby. Of course, I live in a boy house, so the closest thing to a baby doll was Charlie Brown. 

The book also introduces different characters within the nativity story, like, of course, Mary and Joseph. But we also discuss the shepherds and various animals. 

The book also offers fun games like playing hide and seek with a nativity set lamb.

However, the book isn’t just surface. It’s more than just games and craft ideas. The book goes much deeper than that, providing scripture passages, message to reflect upon and acts of service you can do to bring the light of the Gospel to your community. 

For example, on the first day the 12-Day Nativity suggests setting a place at your table for Jesus. On the last day the book suggests inviting someone without family to spend Christmas Eve in celebration with you. Another suggestion was to make care bags for the homeless. 

What I Liked:

1. The emphasis on playtime activities 
2. Predesigned crafts
3. Song ideas and object lessons 
4. The emphasis on scripture

What I didn’t Like:

1. Nothing!

Now for my Review: 

I received a box of 6 different flours and mixes from Better Batter. My family and friends enjoyed trying all the treats and baked goods!

I started off by making brownies and muffins to share at our church’s evening fellowship. The brownies were so delicious and the muffins didn’t disappoint either. Nobody at church could guess that either were gluten-free or that they were made with allergen-free ingredients. 

The next morning, I made my family a breakfast buffet of waffles, biscuits and leftover muffins. With some fried eggs and bacon thrown in, it was quite a feast. Everything was really easy to make. The waffles turned out great. However, I wasn’t thrilled with the biscuits because I felt like they didn’t rise very well. Even so, they still made yummy bacon, egg and cheese biscuits! 

What I liked: 

• the mixes were so easy to use 
• few additional ingredients were needed
• the baked goods are delicious! 

What I didn’t like: 

• I liked everything, except I felt that the biscuits were a little flat.

On the 2nd day of Christmas, day2day joys gave to me…

A handmade with love giveaway from Mamaw’s Many Blessings. Mamaw is actually my mom Carol, who is a Grandma to 5 blessings, and counting, #6 will be here in about 5-6 weeks! ?

She has always had a talent to sew cute outfits, my sister and I always had matching outfits for holidays growing up. All the kids were so excited to put them on. They gathered some fun toys and books and filled them up right away. 
Mamaw’s Many Blessings offers many other types of clothing at her shop as well, including dresses, outfits, boy’s ties and others as she gets inspired. She also makes baby’s gowns… here’s a funny story. Before London was born, we had no idea whether she was going to be a boy or a girl but my mom was hoping for a girl because she gave me this gown at the baby shower, lucky Mamaw, because she was a girl and now gets to get all dolled up, just like Julia! Now she thinks the new baby is a boy so she is making a boy outfit!

What I Liked:

When I received my package I was so excited! It came well packaged in cardboard and protective wrapping which was also easy to open. I pulled the canvases out and absolutely fell in love! 

It’s always fun getting things you have been wanting to hang up for a while made but also awesome when they are well made. The canvases are light weight and their hanging hardware is easily used to hang them up. 

What I Liked:

Undoubtedly for years and years because once the now preschoolers and elementary aged girls are over it, the toddlers will gravitate towards it. 

Either way, our newly 6 year old daughter fell in love with it and just had a Magical Frozen Birthday Party. It was an absolute blast.

Now for my review:

It also contains super-foods because, let’s all be honest, we’re ALL not getting enough of these, which this helps us to get. 1. These are part of my daily routine that help me get all the nutrients I need

Some beautiful, luxurious, sweet smelling bath salts, and a lovely lotion bar from Real Traditions.  These bath salts and lotion are handmade and all natural – they would make a fantastic gift for yourself or others!! 

Real Traditions is a company focused on providing herbs and natural remedies.  They believe that God created herbs with a purpose and that His gifts should be used to their fullest potential!! When they found out all herbs could do – they felt compelled to share their knowledge – and I am SO happy they did!  Every product is hand crafted at home, by the wonderful family at Real Traditions.  Many of their ingredients are organic and all are natural without any synthetics.  You must try these products for your family! They are amazing!

Now for my review:

I was given a lotion bar as well as bath salts, both to be used for “Sweet Dreams.” I used the bath salts first.  Because there are flowers and herbs in them, Real Traditions recommends putting them in a bath tea ball – which I don’t have.  I used a tied off piece of cheesecloth and that did the trick!  The bath was amazing and relaxing – and smelled so great!  My skin felt great right out of the bath… but my sampling wasn’t complete – I HAD to try the lotion!

The lotion bar is concentrated lotion and doesn’t waste any ingredients with water.  Because of this you only need a small amount.  You can take the bar out of its pretty case and rub it right on your skin (so much easier for squirmy kids!).  It smelled great – just like the salts and is super moisturizing! 

My skin felt soft and smelled great – and I was certainly ready for a good night of sleep!! 

What I Liked:

1. The smell
2. The feel
3. The convenience of the lotion, seriously
4. The relaxing feeling of being in a sweet smelling bath – I mean come one – when does mom get that opportunity!! 
5. The fact that it is TOTALLY safe for everyone in my family

What I didn’t Like:

Now for my review:

I was given the Keyhole Scarf from Naptime Creations. Since I have worn things made by Elizabeth before, I wasn’t surprised by the energy Elizabeth went into making this scarf. She puts a lot of attention and detail into finding out what her customers are interested in and developing a quality product. 

I have purchased scarves at the stores and the quality of work just doesn’t compare to these scarves. 

*side note: I forgot to take some better pictures (which I’m no model) after I wore the scarf so my kids were the photographers in these.

Elizabeth’s shop has so many beautiful items. One of my favorites are these boot cuffs. She also has fingerless gloves, a slouchy multi colored hat, a crocheted necklace, winter headbands, a crossbody pocket purse and sooo much more.  

What I Liked:

1. The scarf is well made
2. It is SOOO soft 
3. It is comfortable and adjustable to how tight or loose you want it
4. It is handmade
5. The scarf is comparable or even cheaper to buying similar products at stores

What I didn’t Like:

1. Nothing!
