Healing through Applied Kinesiology:
Applied Kinesiology as a Tool for Health & Healing:
How Applied Kinesiology Helped Me:
Kelly is thankful for the expert care provided by her chiropractor and friend Dr. Scott Vrzal |
Kelly loves the Lord, her family, and sharing her passion for real food cooking and meal planning with others. She is a full-time homemaker who loves spending time with her awesome hubby and two sweet boys. Kelly’s real food journey began six years ago when she was diagnosed with a chronic autoimmune disorder. Since then, the Lord has blessed her with an amazing recovery – a testament to His grace and the health benefits of eating real food. Kelly shares her knowledge and love for whole food cooking at The Nourishing Home, Facebook and Google.
Thanks for the opportunity to share my story! I pray it inspires and encourages others. Lots of blessings, sweet friend! 🙂 Kelly
What a great testimony! Kelly, I love how you shared the way your doctor helped you, while giving God the praise! It’s such a blessing when the Lord directs our paths to the medical care we need. Kinesiology is a new idea to me, but it sounds wonderful and I’m so glad that it has helped you the way it has.
Thanks, Kristen. I appreciate your kind words of encouragement. When I first experienced kinesiology it was so strange, I admit that I was truly a skeptic at first. But it really is amazing to learn how the Lord has designed the body and how each organ interconnects and interrelates to one another. Once I learned more about this dynamic relationship between each part of the body being dependent upon the other. And how when one organ is suffering it can cause other parts of the body to suffer as well, the analogy of the church being a body and each member having it’s function made SO much more sense to me. It’s no wonder God chose this analogy to illustrate the importance of us using our gifts to serve each other. 1 Cor 12: 12-31
Very interesting and informative, and thanks for the reminder to take our health concerns to the Lord. 🙂
I love learning about alternative ways to treat instead of using medicine! Great series! I have been doing a lot of praying for wisdom in dealing with a couple of pregnancy issues, and this is great encouragement for me!
It’s so great to hear this information being spread! Thank you Kelly and Rachel for being such a light! Our story: About two years ago we too started down our real food transformation, moreover, of course – our health transformation. Our initial thrust was our six-month baby who, pardon the full disclosure, had “mucousy poops” from Day 7 after her birth on. Her belly was taut, she cried most nights, and our success with sleep relied on carrying her around in an ErgoBaby Carrier or constant nursing. In a nutshell, her colon was inflamed, and her poor little system was actually bleeding into her poops. She had the super-common diagnosis of GERD/Reflux, but I knew the root cause was deeper (not just “developmental” – survive until she “grows out of it”). Sadly, not all that uncommon. Several specialists and no diagnosis later, I turned to Dr. Scott Vrzal, who came to me by way of strong referral from a close friend. Wish he would have been our first stop. Within a month, my system was more online, and he began trouble-shooting her system. We discovered what no other doctor or specialist had: my little sweetie had a fructose intolerance! Fructose is the naturally occurring sugar in fruit and many veggies. Of ALL the things I had cut out of my diet (dairy, soy, wheat, eggs, nuts, coffee, chocolate, and few other items), fruit was not one of them. There were a few other intolerances he was able to identify, but as soon as fruit came out of my diet, life smoothed. No scratch allergy panels or litany of tests can point out what kinesiology and muscle testing can. And yes, on a teeny baby! I’d like to point out that what we put our sweet babies through via Western medicine is so frequently unnecessary. All too often, scoping, scans, and “preparations” are simply not really necessary. Holistic medicine and healing via chiropractic and kinesiology is the lowest risk, lowest pain, lowest cost option available. May I shout from the rooftops? Our bodies are fearfully and miraculously made, and tapping into the true nature of our interconnected beings is an absolute game-changer. I love what Kelly says in this post, and as Rachel echos elsewhere in this site. I have had the same experience in understanding God more fully through this experience. We are made to glorify Him, and to see our bodies work miraculously! Not just miraculously with prescriptions. But fuller. Richer. Deeper. The accuracy with which a skilled kinesiologist can hone in on an issue is incomparable. Since then, my whole family has experienced incredible gains. Surgeries cancelled. Life resumed. Long walks and chasing grand-children type of changes. Babies carried to full-term. The real stuff. I pray this information would grow you, challenge you to consider your options! Blessings! Pardon me for the long post; so blessed in our journey, and hope it encourages you in yours!
MamaBearJen, thank you so much for taking the time to share your story and for the encouragement you’ve provided, as I’m certain your words here will be an encouragement to others who are looking for answers outside of invasive tests, medications, etc. Of course, thank the Lord we do have access to these procedures and such when they are truly needed, but oftentimes, the Lord can use our willingness to make healthy changes and to seek alternate means to bring healing to our lives. Thanks again so much for sharing your family’s story! Lots of blessings to you and your precious family, Kelly
Amen! I love it that my daughter has had very in the way of invasive testing or procedues. They are foreign to her. My daughter and I both have benefitted so much from applied kinesiology. I think it is often hard for our Western minds to be open to such things, and for those who are believers in Christ, there is sometimes a question about what role one’s spirit plays in all of this. My eyes have been opened to how intricately we are designed…we are WHOLE beings…and our health is interwoven on all levels: mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical. God wants us to take care of all these areas, and we too often segregate them.
Chiropractic has kept me out of a wheel chair.
I have a questions. Can kinesiology help a 10 year old stop wetting the bed.
You can anwer me at aloecards at gmail dot com
Thanks.
My youngest had this issue and we did find that accupressure helped a bit, but there are two different types of bed wetting issues, so it’s important to uncover which is the issue so it can be appropriately addressed. We found ultimately because my son’s issue was his brain not responding to the signal from the bladder to wake up and go, that he needed behavioral modification to train his brain to respond to his bladder’s signals. I was shocked to find that within just 2 weeks of behavior modification techniques he was completely cured of bedwetting. We went on with the system for another 3 weeks just to follow the protocol completely, but he was truly cured. I really recommend reading this book and following the steps outlined to help discover this root cause of the bed wetting issue. This ped is not a drug-pusher, he is truly concerned with getting to the heart of the matter and he’s written the book to children. That’s right, it’s written to talk to your child to make him realize that this is a condition many kids face and the doctor is right there to walk your child (and you) through the steps to overcome bed wetting. I found this book (protocol) to be the answer we had been searching for (praise be to God).

• Bedwetting alarm (if this is the therapy recommended based on your son’s root cause for bedwetting): http://bedwettingstore.com/bedwetting-alarms.html
I hope this helps! Blessings, Kelly
We started going to a Chiropractor who also practices CRA (Contact Reflexology Analysis) and it has done wonders for us. They won’t to solve the problem not mask it. We haven’t been to a conventional doctor in many years.
The natural way is the way to go. Thanks for sharing your story. VERY encouraging.
Kim
Hi, Kim. I’m so happy you found my story to be a source of encouragement. Thank you for taking the time to share briefly about your personal experience with chiropractic care as well. Many blessings to you and your family, Kelly
HI Kelly, I was very intrigued by your story…as I, too, found out that I was gluten intolerant through muscle testing. I was on prescription medicine for anxiety/depression for 10-15 years unnecesarily, but God is good all the time and for whatever reason, the issue was not uncovered or understood to be the gluten intolerance that caused the symptoms. As soon as I eliminated gluten (ever present level anxiety in me left my body) and started standard process supplements I went on a path to stop taking the medications. I weaned off after 6 months but with detox and terrible anger. My body said I didn’t need the meds anymore, but it was a process to fight thru detox. I am grateful for a loving husband that survived it. I do take Laminine & NuPlus and I think that is helping to balance me along with the Standard Process but the cleansing is daily. As well, thru muscle testing I have found out that my ileo cecal valve gets stuck open. What a trip! So, I have to close it daily. As soon as I closed it the first time, I felt a lot of fatigue leave me. I’ve been off gluten for a year and my son his gluten free based on muscle testing. Julie jad973 at yahoo dot com. I have addition questions about finding a christian holistic practitioner.
