quinoa
Ever since I learned how America’s sudden obsession with quinoa is hurting South American families who used to rely on this little-known high-protein grain (just two of many articles here and here), I’ve avoided buying it . I know it’s just a drop in the bucket kinda thing, but it’s a drop I’m responsible for. Anyway, I thought this post was really interesting an helpful on how to grow and prepare your own quinoa. It’s actually a pretty plant!

Today I shared “The 80/20 Rule” which gives a lot a freedom NOT to sweat the small stuff when it comes to healthy eating and “Coconut Oil Chocolate Treats – Regular and Spicy” which are a good for you treat and a great way to get coconut oil into your diet!

I also shared Beautiful Babies Giveaway (including a revies) which has wonderful info about how diet affects the health of your pregnancy and your child’s health for years to come.

    • I am SO glad you posted this.

I have a friend who is transitioning into a real-food diet and she is concerned! I didn’t know Dr Price mentioned this, but I told her I believed as long as 80% of what she ate was nutritious and satisfying, she would be ok!!! Now I will share this post with her and we will both be encouraged – THANK YOU!

  2. Thanks for hosting! I shared an article on why we should eat ALL types of fats, not just saturated. They all have a bit of good to offer!

  3. Thank you for hosting Rachel! I shared Toasted Coconut Chai Macaroons with a quick how-to video on how easy it is to make them. They’re super healthy and tasty and perfect for snacking when you don’t want to feel guilty about snacking! 🙂 Have a really good rest of the week!

  4. Rachel thanks for the invite and thanks for hosting this!

And every day it seems like I learns something new – if you have a unique use I haven’t thought of, drop by and mention it in the comments so the collective can learn!!
