I Didn’t Cloth Diaper {but will in the future}

I’m a “natural” mama, meaning I take into consideration several aspects of what I feed my kids, what goes in and on their bodies and how we go about our health.

If you have been reading for a while, you know that my husband is a wellness doctor and we’re on a mission to change the way healthcare is viewed and managed.

When our children, now 4 & 5 were first born, we were still learning about what living a natural lifestyle meant. We were changing the way we ate, learning that what we put in and on our bodoes really matters, and about the body’s amazing ability to heal itself, a gift that God has given all of us.
However, we weren’t all that familiar with all of the ways to care for babies in an eco-friendly, natural way.  I was nursing, limiting foods and when I was feeding them, making sure they were organic to reduce pesticides and other toxins. But I had no clue about cloth diapering, being able to make your own baby-wipes or the importance of non-toxic laundry detergent.
Well, I’d love to tell you about my friend, The Humbled Homemaker’s ebook, Confessions of a Cloth Diaper Convert.
I have no idea about cloth diapering, but Lord willing we will have more children, and this ebook will be a valuable resource to me. It’s full of everything you need to know, all your questions have been answered… the research has been done for us!
After a hard past year, with a miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy, I look forward to holding another baby in my arms. (in God’s timing!!)  Not only will I have help from my kiddos, I will get to embark on a new experience of cloth diapering and I’ll be fully ready due to this awesome ebook.

Have you ever used cloth diapers?

  1. Yes I have used cloth diapers when our twin daughters were babies. Now they are almost 20. I can attest to the fact that it was a lot of work but it was all I knew at the time and I am glad I did. I did use disposable diapers when we went to church or on trips.
