Written by KT @ One Organic Mama, Contributing Writer Want to encourage thankfulness in your little ones? We started writing thank you notes early. This year, my 4 year old is ready to contribute (a little) to the writing process! He is having fun practicing letters and loved writing his own note to Santa this year! Imagine my surprise when he … [Read more...]
Christmas Letter Ideas
One of our family traditions every year (or shall I say mine??) is to write up a Christmas letter highlighting the past year. It is actually one of my favorite things to do this time of year! And it's not because I get to send one out to our friends & family. The truth is, I have a really neat book my Mom gave me several years ago that I keep all of our Christmas letters in each year. I started in 2009, so counting this year I have 5 letters. I really recommend this to those of you who … [Read more...]

We’re Going to Try Truth in the Tinsel this Year
I've had the Truth in the Tinsel ebook for about 2 years but I still haven't gotten around to doing it with my kids. The first year, we just opened our business after waiting on God and then last year I let the busyness take over and didn't make time. And I cannot promise I'll be able to do all the activities this year but I am going to make an effort, even though today is the first day of the advent activities and I have nothing ready. :) Today I wanted to share a Question & Answer … [Read more...]
6 Steps to Master The Art of Entertaining
Written by Kari, Contributing Writer Gathering with family and friends is a big thing during November and December and I’m all about celebrations. I enjoy going to them, but I absolutely enjoy hosting them. I probably got the entertaining bug from my mom who knows how to throw a good celebration. Never did a detail slip by her: the décor, ambiance, music, lighting, food…everything that can be recognized by the five physical senses were always taken care of. Those are the kind of gatherings I … [Read more...]

Written by Angela, Contributing WriterIt's really easy, and fun, in my opinion, to make your own jam. It's also healthier and better for the budget! I'm a fan of anything that can be considered more natural and/or budget friendly! And I really LOVE it when those to things go hand in hand, which they usually do! I love to can and freeze.
